When designer Cathy Clark-Ramirez visited New Orleans for the first time, true love was born. The city’s combination of music, food, architecture, and cultural energy created a vibrancy like nowhere else in the world. For Tiana’s pin design, the art deco influences of the 1920s and ’30s, with their bold and elegant lines, seemed like a perfect match for Tiana’s strength and determination. Of course, Cathy threw in a pinch of New Orleans flair and theatricality, too.
